Seminarziel: This course introduces administrators and other IT professionals to the operational theory behind Citrix WANScaler 4.2 and prepares them to plan a deployment, install, configure and administer the product.

- Determine when to deploy in inline, virtual inline, WCCP and group modes
- Deploy a Citrix WANScaler
- Generate acceleration data and graphs
- Identify common issues and resolutions
- Install and configure the WANScaler Client
- Configure a WANScaler Redirector and Controller
Voraussetzungen: - Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols and an understanding of the OSI model
- Experience with network devices (e.g. routers, switches), various networking protocols, and aspects of site architecture (e.g. DMZ, VLANS)
- Exposure to basic systems administration concepts, including logging, software upgrade procedures and high availability operations
